I got this from reading the "Magnum LTD - Fargo, ND" thread in the "Discuss your favorite truck company here" section of TTR:

Just got a call from Schuster. They are offering 46cpm if I don't have to go out with a trainer plus monthly safety bonuses. The question is which job will be less stressful?

If you end up running the coast I can tell you where all the good places are to eat along the way that have truck parking

I really appreciate that. Maximizing my clock and finding parking are things that as a rookie has me worried.

Just stopped for the night. It was a rough day. Man am I rusty. Grinding gears and visibility at night with the rain made my job harder today.
Only made it to Toledo. I did about 250 miles today. Hoping to double that tomorrow. Going up and down the hills on 80 today in Pennsylvania was challenging today. Very frustrating day.
Hoping for a better day tomorrow.

A long day 2. Hit some snow in Iowa made for rough travel. I think the plows were making it worse.
It didn't seem like they were throwing much salt and left a thin layer of snow that seemed to glaze over.
Parked for the night outside Des Moines. Trainer is a cool guy. I'm hoping too put 500 miles in tomorrow. Last two days have just been rough for travel.

Man, what a day today. Barely slept and got up officially at 6am. Trainer started the day down 80 in Wyoming. It took forever to get across that state. There was a truck in the ditch every 15 miles and traffic was stooped for an hour for a serious Accident involving a tractor trailer and a pickup.
Switched spots with my trainer about 530 and only got about 250 miles in. Fatigue and bad weather in Nevada on 80. Stopped at a flying J for the night. Hoping to make our 7 am appointment in Sparks. About 250 miles to go.
