I got empty this afternoon and bobtailed to the terminal. I called Louie and he told me to see him in the morning. When I got to the yard he asked me if I wanted to go to the west coast and I told him sure. He told me to see him in the AM for my load info. My truck needs a service and a headlight fixed so I'll be at the yard most of the day tomorrow. Gary got in from California and needs some major work done on his truck so he'll be here until Friday. Right now we are at the Petro after going out to a little Italian restaurant in Scranton.

I know of a place in Boynton Beach right by CarMax. It's an industrial park that's empty and a bunch of drivers park there when they are home. As far as overnight driving it all depends on the load and your time management. If you start your day late you will be driving later at night. With that being said I have had to drive overnight about twice in 2 years.

No write-ups in 4 weeks on my truck, today my driver side headlight wiring harness needs replacing. If that's the only issue I have so be it. The truck and APU is being serviced then it's off to LA for 3 drops on Tuesday. I had the oppurtunity to meet about 7 drivers that I have been bogging with that have been hired here at Calex. Good luck to all of you. Any questions please ask, I'll be glad to help anyone out.

I'm so over this winter. I'm thinking this snowstorm here in Pittston is the first one for next year, or is it the last one for last year?

Are "alhuryn" and "jrotra" still around on here? Haven't seen or heard much out of them lately, hopefully all is well with everyone out there. Seems the heat wave is on here in Florida, definately don't want to deal with snow, but also don't want to deal with the heat this early in the year:biggrin_25521:
