Hey guys i ended up applying last week and Mort got back to me today telling me to come to Pittston monday for my roadtest/physical/UA, ect. So im real exited. Ive read this thread over many times from start to finish and found nothing but positive feedback for this company and i'm definitly anxious to get started. Hopefully all goes well for me on monday and Mort says i could be in a truck and running as early as wendsday/thursday. Was a bit discouraged at first hearing they didnt hire out of Long Island, but after emailing Mort directly he said he needed drivers for the Northeast division so i feel real lucky to even be considered for Calex. Definitly looking forward to it. A bit nervous for the road test being i havent driven since about December so i hope i do good. Ive driven and learned on some treacherous/tight roads here in NY so i dont think i should worry much. Just dont know what to expect and also havent driven a Volvo since about 2004. Hoping i do ok. From what i read the road tests are on a 10 speed so i think i should be fine cuz im very used to 10 speeds and super 10s its all ive really driven since starting out in 2003. Either way looking forward to it and hoping to meet any of you up there and get some more input on Calex and what i should expect and watch out for.

    Thanks

    Anthony

Got our truck friday, delivered at Weis then went to the yard and switched out. At home getting the rest of our things and heading out Monday for Kent. It was an interesting week in that little truck, glad that is over.....

Hey John. Did you know that Calex used this quote on their website? Pretty cool, huh?

Well it's been a long 2 weeks cause of the snow storm in the sierra Nevada mountians but I finally droped the second stop off Hayward and picked up in Vernon CA. Droping in the morning # 0600 in Pottsville PA then hopefully go to the yard to turn in paper work and get a load going back west.
I hope to see you John sometime tomorrow.
