For me the trips to Canada are problem free. I've had my passport for 20 years now. I've used it more for overseas travel than I have for delivering freight to Canada. If you don't need a passport than go with the pass card.

The trips ive done there so far were pretty easy. Ive done 3 and actually doing another tommorow(sunday) and possibly weekly. I think the passport card might be better and easier. Unless you plan on visiting other countries then just get the normal passport. I have an EDL since my state borders Canada so its more a breeze to cross in for me. But you shouldnt have a problem. Also all the loads there ive brought so far were really light reefer loads with maybe 6-8 skids tops and that makes it alot better. All my runs there too have a stop off in Rochester NY @wegmans but unload is pretty quik and onto Canada you go. That appt is at like 9pm and after that its a great time to cross in and get to ur stop, cuz traffic during the day there can get brutal especially if your passing by Toronto.

Checked out a few and they were pretty nice. I love videos like that of simple trips and nice scenery. And if the camera is securely mounted and and doesnt affect you whatsoever i dont see why its a bad thing. It could even be a safety feature in many ways god forbid something happens on the road in front of you and its captured on tape. If anything a GPS, radio or CB could be more distracting. As long as you aint holding the thing.
