    No, no trouble at all. Paradise is still at Calex. I made a mistake, took full responsibility for it and took my punishment like a man. It's now water under the bridge and time to get back to the job at hand.

    Glad you are back. Hope all is well and you continue to post on this very informative and valuable thread. Been following this thread for some time and have enjoyed reading your adventures with Calex. I live just north of you in Stuart. Trying to decide on a cdl school to attend so I can get started with a good company. Hope to be able to work for Calex some time in the future. Your weekly north south run with the option to run west occcasionally for a change of scenery sounds like the perfect gig. Finding a GOOD company willing to hire a newbe this far south is starting look like a challenge. Again, thanks for the great thread and please keep posting.

    well i leave saturday to take the truck back to pa as the 15th will be my last day with calex it has been alotta fun meet alotta people that i hope to remain freinds with but for now its time to move on

    Welcome to our little world, and thanks for the kind words. My reprimand will have no bearing what so ever on me continuing writing about the goings on in this profession. I have been told numerous times how helpful this blog is to a lot of people, both new drivers and veterans. What happen to me here at Calex was totally my fault and like I said, we move on. I will post about it over the weekend, but for now myself and a few other drivers here will keep this going as long as there's an interest. I have put just about 30 safe years in this field and for me to be able to have a new driver like yourself express an interest in what I say is the reason why I do this. Good luck in your decision making and if you have any questions just ask, one of us will have the answer for you.

    It was nice meeting you as well. I just got to Jarratt about a half hour ago. I never encountered so many traffic tie-ups in my life. Four wrecks, one car fire, and big truck break down.

    I already have directions into Brooklyn. The local shuttle guy gave them to me last night. Besafe and maybe I'll catch you at the yard or out on a west coast run.
