the question here is, why would any company want a driver that drinks while he is suppose to be resting? Nothing like being a danger to other truckers.

There is no place in this world for drinking and driving, especially in a CMV. If this is true, then I hope he's history. I'm not privy to this, but you seem to be. I'm curious to see how this turns out. Believe me, if he fails a drug/alcohol test that will end his driving career, but it won't end his driving ability until god forbid something catastrophic happens.

If a driver is 2500 miles away in Vegas and is drinking how will he get caught? The only way is if someone see's him and drops a dime, or God forbid goes out and kills someone. I would have absolutely no problem dropping a dime.mamaDjugs Thanks this.

Believe it or not, but the Feds say we have to have 10 hours off after our 14 hour clock is done. Some drivers don't adhere to the rules like most of us. Some want to play, others want to rest. The ones that play and don't get proper rest are the reason why big brother is breathing down our necks.The Challenger Thanks this.
