Well here's the lowdown about the Boars Head account. In a nutshell, waiting with no detention. You will sit at the plant in wonderful Brooklyn, as in NY, not Wyoming. You will wait on the street until they are ready for you. Appointment times mean nothing. Usually when they are done with you it will be rush hour then you have to drive down to Jarrat Va to drop that load and take a 10 hour break while they load you back to Brooklyn. That's all you'll be doing, waiting to load and driving in nothing but traffic from Richmond Va to Brooklyn NY.

I'm sure the rookie (Chris) or voyager1968 (Steve) can give you more info about it. All I know is anyone that has done it threaten to quit and a few have.

I'm home. Got here about an hour ago. I deliver in Plant City Wednesday at 5am then reload in Belle Glade going back to Jersey.

Chris did you make it back to Pittston ok?

If hometime is important then yes, Calex is the way to go. Also, if you like being called by your name and not a truck number then this is the place to be. Working for a small company with 170 trucks that has the same freight every week far outweighs a mega carrier that will forget about you the minute you hang up and leave.

I'm quite sure it's the Brooklyn to Jarrat one. Anyone offered it on a steady basis usually means it is the one with the most headaches.

.36 to start unless you run local then it's .40 to start. Health insurance is ok, I've had worse. It starts the first of the month after your first 30 days. NYC? We are a short 128 miles to the GW so seeing the big city occasionally will happen.
