Let me correct my response, that's what I'd rather do then the type of work you did around the house. The 3500 miles will be from last Friday to this Friday. My best week here was 4200 miles four times. That's because I went from the house to PA then to the west coast.

My best week was 2950. I went from the terminal to Atlanta to Miami to Jacksonville to Spartanburg to Piedmont to Mtn Top to the terminal. Now, if every week would have been in that same ballpark, I'd still be at Calex.
The thing is, that was the exception. Most of my weeks the best I could do was 2,000 to 2,200. -
Got empty at 6am this morning in Buffalo. I got my reload info yesterday morning. I load later today in Buffalo going to Pittston for Monday, which I'm dropping at the yard. I then have to pick up an empty and load in Springfield Va Sunday with a drop in Lakeland Fl Monday afternoon then Deerfield Beach on Tuesday. I'll be home Monday evening and leave back out Thursday.
My APU had a nervous breakdown last night so I'll have time tomorrow to get it looked at. -

I enjoy doing my part, I just wish it went both ways. If there's one part that needs some serious re-adjusting it's our shop. Sorry, but it's the truth. I run their truck with the mindset that it's mine. I take care of the equipment trusted to me, I haven't so much as put a scratch on any piece of equipment in the almost 3 years here. Some drivers can't get out of the terminal without hitting something, all I want is my APU fixed. I just hate idling at night with fuel as high as it is. Urghhhh...... Ok, rant over.
I'm spending the night here at the wonderful TA in Jessup Md. Some things never change. I load tomorrow in Springfield Va then need to haul A/S/S to Lakeland for Monday. -

Have you ever been assigned a trailer in the yard that was suppose to be empty but was loaded? I got my paperwork this morning out of the box and hooked to my supposedly empty trailer that had a load on it going to MD. I called Eddie who was on call to tell him and wanted to hear from him to find another empty one. -
