I'm empty and home. Woke up this morning in Kingsland Ga, showered and fueled then got to Lakeland and kicked off 5 pallets and was done in 15 minutes. Then went down to Deerfield Beach and kicked off 13 pallets and was done in a half an hour. I then drove 12 miles to the house and put the truck to bed until Thursday.

This job is only the third one I've had in this industry the last 30 years, so I think I'm pretty good at speaking for this company. They are not perfect, but like I said, it works great for me. If you just start reading my entries alone from the beginning you will see I tell it like it is, good and bad. Everyone that knows me at Calex, some drivers I've become close to, safety, dispatch and especially my wife knows that when I leave here it won't be because of a new job, it will be because I'm done.
Before I answer any of your questions, you need to find out if they hire in your part of Ma. I know we go there quite a bit, but I'm not sure we hire out of there. -
Hey John I'm good. Back in November I had the opportunity to get into entertainment driving.
It's something I've been looking at for a long time and I finally got the chance. I'm now on my first
full-fledged rock n roll tour, pretty cool seeing how everything works from this side of things. Good
to see you're still going strong at Calex. If you see Mort tell him I said hello.JohnBoy Thanks this. -
Got my new dispatch. I load in Jacksonville 10pm tomorrow night for a 7am delivery in Piedmont SC on Friday. Another overnight trip to deliver beer. Lucky me.

I'm getting ready to leave. In order for me to drive up to Jacksonville, load then drive up to Piedmont SC and unload everything must fall into place. It's 680 miles from the house to unload. I got my preplan for tomorrow. I'll drop and hook at our customer in Piedmont, 4 miles from where I get empty, then head to Mountain Top Pa. If it all works out correctly I'll be starting my 10 hour break at 7am in the morning in Duncan SC. Be safe all, God Bless.

What a night. I left the house at 5pm yesterday. Drove the 300 miles nonstop to Jacksonville and was checked in and at the dock at the brewery at 9:30pm. I was finally loaded and leaving the shipper at 1:15 am this morning. I stopped in Kingsland Ga for fuel and coffee and then left for Piedmont SC. I got there at 7am, bumped the dock and was empty at 8am. I drove the 5 miles to our customer also in Piedmont, drop and hooked then went right to sleep there for my 10 hour break. I am not driving all night again tonight so when my 10 hours was up I drove up here to Duncan, fueled and called it a night. I need to drop this trailer in Mountain Top tomorrow night. I figure I'll be there around 7pm.
