I'm home. Got my last 2 drops off this morning and was home at 8:30. Time to enjoy my weekend. Louie said another week of this. I heard through the grapevine this run will be available permanently, If it is I'm thinking of taking it.

"THINKING" about taking it? JB I'd be all over that like white on rice my friend, you've put in your time there you deserve it.
JohnBoy Thanks this. -
That sounds like a great oppertunity, I on the other hand am looking at going to work for either Knight, Schnieder, or Werner. I have been away from trucking for a few years and only had about a years experience before things got slow in 2009. I am glad to hear you got a sweet deal, maybe after I build up a few months of road time I will find something like that. Good luck with the new employer Johnboy, see you out there.

Its not how many times a fighter gets knocked down, its how many times he gets back up...Cool Hand Luke -
The issue that will stop me from getting this, in my opinion, is that Louie uses me as a back up west coast driver. But, these dedicated runs is some of the highest paying freight we have that is very time critical from one of our biggest customers.
This really isn't any different for me and my hometime. The nice thing is that I'm at the same place the same time every week. The only difference is no more west coast turns. -
If you keep that phrase in the forefront of your thinking then you can't help but to succeed....Johnboy

Called into dispatch and got my reload info for Monday. Same load I had this past Monday, load in Jacksonville, unload in Columbia, deadhead to Greenville then drop and hook for Mountain Top for Tuesday night.
