I don't troll. Just giving good solid advice. If you don't like it don't read it. People like you that think you know trucking make it hard for people trying to learn trucking. Don't haul cheap frieght. Golden Rule Number One. Do your own research rely on yourself and the list goes on. If you can't handle good advice or understand it then move on down the road.

Also, courtesy of Shifter68, from the "Discussion about Everything" thread:

That dude is right and I've only signed up yesturday. Bunch of.

This, in reply to a thread that had been dead for over three years.

Apparently Mr. Shifter believes that his way is the only right way. Perfect right to think that if you wish.

And you know what they say about the screen door hittin' ya.....

Combatdoc, were you on 70 in Washington, PA this afternoon heading west? I could be mistaken, but you and your wife run together correct? Anyway, I was passed by a Calex truck merging on, and as I crept back by I looked over and there was a female driving and male in the passenger seat, thought maybe it was you guys, tried to holler on the radio but no answer. If it was you, good to see you, if not I'll keep an eye out:)

As far as I know, he and his wife are in California getting ready to pick up a load coming back east., so that must have been someone else.

The weather was so crappy across there yesterday, I glanced over but not quick enough to get a good look, had to keep my eyes on the road. Hopefully things are good out your way Voyager, nothing more than rain a few gust of wind over here in the "burgh".

    Voyager1968 Thanks this.

We fared much better in Tamaqua than many other areas surrounding me. Personally, I never lost power during the storm, although many others, including half the town proper, did. Still, we were left relatively unscathed compared to places like the Poconos and the Lehigh Valley (Allentown/Bethlehem) areas. Some of the photos and stories from those areas, while not as bad as NYC and the shore, are pretty bad in their own right. The place I deliver water to is still without power as is the well where I load, so I don't know when I'll be back to work again.

All in all, I consider myself very fortunate that things were not extreme in my immediate location.

Got my produce unloaded this morning and told to go straight to my pu to go back west. So wasn't able to go back to the yard to get the salt from western PA washed off my truck. Back home for a few days, Thank u Louie

That's my buddy Tom. Our NY Times loads were late coming out of the city this week because of the storm so he was a day behind me. We have 4 of these W-900's. I have one, Tom has one, George has one and the other is set up as our wrecker. The 3 of us are on dedicated runs.
