I would have to agree with rambleingrebel on this one. My husband worked for this company for 3 years (locally) as a yard dog and such.. he did do a few OTR loads for them, but they are actually in the process of filing bankruptcy from what I hear now. He got out after swift took over especially when he started firing everyone of the bosses for no reason and because a husband and wife worked together. Then the co-owner got out of there too.... They have went down hill since the buyout/transfer. He's been gone for over a year though, so I don't know how things are other than hearing they are going bankrupt.

 

Yeah I will agree as well, these people are going down.

If you saw the web site, it's all wrong. They're not in that building anymore, you'll never see those Kw's. they have a few, but mostly U.S. Xpress lease trucks. They're wholly leased to USX but they're different, less pay, less benefits, less support. you're expected to stay out two weeks, but they only really run you 10 days, with short runs over the weekend you're out. One Fri. I got a dispatch for 963 mi. to del. Mon. AM That's a big 321 mi. a day. I ran over 4th of July weekend because "We got lots of freight to move". I went from Lexington, Ky to Mechanicsburg, Pa. on the 3rd, then sat till the 5th and got a 34 hr. restart in Carlisle. I stayed with them 2 months to avoid paying them back for physical, drug screen, etc. then said adios.
