That's a good point it could be Russians and the Punjabis as well I don't think we put the test in their language and from what I see daily they have no idea what's going on around them

In Tennessee, it went like this (before they got busted):
"Sir, you need to bring 3 bills, a previous license, birth certificate, your mom with 3 bills, her birth certificate, cross this T and dot this I. NEXT!"
    "Sir, what is your name?"
    'Hector'
"Do you have anyone that can identify you, Hector?"
'Si, this is my friend, Paco."
    "You are Paco, correct?"
    'Si!'
    "What is his name?"
    'Hector.'
    "Hector, here's your driver's license."

I worked very hard to EARN my CDL... It makes me very angry that there are those who choose to take, or be a party to, fraudulent activity to get theirs.

    I am just saying...

Seeing what I do every day i should think the number of untrained drivers committing this crime is much higher. The guy arrested at the school who was in on the fraud had his lawyer tell the media he was a good family man just trying to help members of his community . I'm with you 69 I worked hard to get where I am and this makes me angry . It shows a complete lack of respect for the knowledge it takes to be a good driver.

I was wondering why my retest cost me 600 dollars....

No really, though, the cdl school I went to was happy to train people who didn't speak english to say the words needed to pass the test. They had no idea what they were saying wrt their pre trips, but they could say the words, so they passed their tests.

I hear from truck schools in denver issue cdls even if you cant drive. Guaranteed pass is what I was told. Thats the same as dmv bribes. This has been happening for awhile, years ago Fremont and San Jose examiners were caught selling cdls.
