All true I do think we can all live and work together and things will work themselves out so long as the different cultures are patient and show one another proper respect.

I think the responses got off topic.... I was just wondering if anyone here is among the some 600 who had their licenses revoked and what happened / what they had to do....

I would assume youd have to re test to get it back. What do you think?

I was really proud to get my cdl in one try, just hit 100k safe miles as well.

Sad to see so many people think having a cdl is a right. So many idiots on the road i really question why i do this sometimes.

Some ####### from chi overhead doors sideswiped my truck the other day in a truck no passing zone on the pa turnpike. You know, because slowing to 60 for a few miles was really going to #### his day up.

The fact that these people have to cheat just to get a CDL license really speaks volumes on how far down the bottom of the barrel they have to scrape just to get drivers to drive trucks in this country.

Its because of the pay any driver 5hat does the math can see his hourly take home is inadequate.

Call them in for a random CDL skills test. They do in AR. I tested, years ago, through a third party examiner, and that is one of the forms that the AR Highway Patrol required us to sign - we agree that by holding a CDL in the state of AR, that we can AT ANY TIME and for any reason be called upon to submit to a random skills test.
Boom, select a date range and all of the drivers who were issued CDL's between those dates have 90 days to comply - problem solved. Although, being CA, that would be tied up in litigation for 17 years so the rest of us just have to deal with the moronic drivers that seem to be hitting the roads now. It is #### near frightening out here some days - I see some stuff that defies logic.

I think there already is a proposal on the horizon for that in California.

So how does that work, you can be required, by law, to go in, with a CMV, to take the test? That sounds like it could be very expensive for a decent person who got the wrong tester at the DMV.

In illinois there was series of deaths associated with the paid for cdls. Traced it all back to one DMV. License for bribes and inherently man slaughter.
