I run local, so I remembered at one renewal, I had put Intrastate, the agent asked me at the window if I was sure about it, I asked why, she told me the consequences IF I was to go out of state that my CDL wouldn’t be valid. So I changed it to INTERSTATE. Luckily she had a family member that has a CDL, and she knew. That’s why she mentioned it to me. Most agents will not tell you at the office.
California DMV messed me up bad, need your input!

Of course, the problem is that a lot of people either don't know the difference, or can't hear the difference between the two. Every state should give you 2 choices; "Interstate" and "[Home State] Only".

A-hole knew it was a mistake and couldn't let it slide? What a prick.

I know a guy that took the test for a cdl-b and the chick typed an A on the license paperwork. BONUS.

This is 100% your fault.
