California rate going out average $1.50.How can we make it?

My trucks have been getting $2.25+ out of Oregon on long miles to Western PA, OH, and VA. Life is good for dry van freight haulers these days.

 

Never had a problem finding decent paying freight out of California with a Reefer. Just so long as you were willing to make three of four picks, to make a load.

I wish...Getting $2.05 back to Phoenix from Indiana right now.That's the best I can get.

 

$3400 to phoenix from Chicago? Terrible- Even if your Light. Should be around $4200

LA $4800 Dry box- $5000 Flatbed

Im Getting $4000 to Manchester,NH 1000 miles AND Backhauls outs new England are touching $1.80 a mile

 

I thought you was retiring neighbor? I'm headed East also up to Rhode Island. Haven't been up that way in several years.

 

I am soon- I was gonna stay local- But they are paying the $$$ to me, Hard to say no

To be realistic. At this time of year.If I am getting at least $2.00/miles ,I am OK with it.
