This is why you don't rely on a dispatcher or carrier for your freight.

California always sucked with outbound Midwest freight this time a year. Reefer or not. This time a year I used to sit there at TA Ontario, sometimes even 2 days, before they would finally find something. Depressing. I used to go up there across I 10 to Outback Restaurant and get my myself a Rib-eye with loaded baked potatoe and beer to prop up my morale. No more California for me. Especially Winter time.

Good to know. I am posting myself on Monday/Tuesday to CT/NY/ME too. Will ask 4$ a mile minimum then. Though I also was getting loads to MD/VA/PA for over $4 a mile lately but they still take two days. Might as well get more miles and run the hours available more to the limit.

As a FedEx Ground contractor, $1.50 is spectacular. You guys must be swimming in cash at $2.00.
