Hey Rex012.. There is always going to be someone driving slower than you
at any time, on any freeway, on any lane.. That's just something that we all
deal with when we are in our personal vehicle or in the big truck.. I just think
that it is funny that how fast, "or slow" we drive it what you are focused on..
Preserving our license is important to me personally.. I won't risk getting a
ticket for speeding in a truck.. The points on the record & fines are big in Cali..
You go ahead Super Trucker. BTW, when was the last time you have seen a
vons truck on the side of the road getting a speeding ticket.. I going to say
never.. We love guys like you bro. "Bear Bait"!!

I never said i speeed... i said you guys are in the wrong lane doing 50 mph. That's all i say everyone in Calie does 55 to 60 some really push it and do 65. But as far as bear bait... never gotten a ticket foing 58 mph in the left lane. So you tell me who's doing something wrong?

Actually i seen a ralphs truck in an accident at 3 am on the 110. A couple months ago. Just because you're slower than a snail don't mean stuff can't happen

P.s. don't call me son granpa, dinosaur whatever you pefer.

So let me get this strait.. You saw a Ralph's truck on the 110 fwy @3 am in a accident..
Okaaayy... What does that mean.. Did you see what happened? Was it his fault? Oh, I
know, you have the accident report right in front of you.. So, you saw the wreck after
it happened.. Which means what? I don't get your point. This thread was started a couple
of years ago by a driver who had some legitimate questions.. Then some guys gave him
some false info.. He was only asking if was a good place to work.. Then I chimed in with
my experience.. Then I read all this "ish" about slow driving, wrong lanes, and exaggerated
union dues.. What I was trying yo say in my original post was that the grocery ind is a great
place to work. The pay, benefits, and retirement are 2nd only to UPS.. As far as I'm concerned
that is really good.. I would never discourage someone from taking or applying at a career
driving job like this because we drive slow.. Or would it be better to say,"no don't take that job at
vons with the great pay, great benefits,& great retirement.. They drive in the wrong lane. Come
to work for us for less pay, & zero pension.. You'll be happier because you can drive in the hammer
    lane @65 mph"..

So if I may, this is the unofficial traditional speed limits in Cali,
    Grocery 50-55 mph
    Fuel 52-57 mph
    Freight 55-62 mph
    Rock & Sand 60-67 mph
    All other heathens 70+mph
You may not agree, but it's the truth!

This causes more road rage than just about anything else, and there is absolutely no excuse for it.

If you want to go slow, have the courtesy to do it in the right lane.

If you get road rage from someone driving slower than you, you might want to get checked for mental problems.. It's not that big of a deal to change lanes and go around.. Or is it?? It seems like all you long hoods with big motors think that everyone should get the hell out of your way no matter what! It's funny to watch you all on the road go nowhere fast.. So the only advise I can give you is "don't forget to take your Prozac daily".. Oh yea & "Hammer down"
