Californian wanting to become a trucker

    I agree I am from Illinois and If you have a CDL A and are not making at least 50 grand a year you are doing something wrong, I know of at least 20 local positions right now open in my area (Quad cities) and all of them pay at least 50+ a year.

    Trucking in California isn't that bad. I mean I've trucked through worst states. I don't know, maybe I don't get messed with in Cali because I have Cali plates?

    He is in a great state to be a trucker. Especially if he lives in So-Cal. Every major trucking company has a terminal there. He will no have problems finding a job.
