CWF would never take the NMFA again. It would be the best thing for the drivers but won't happen. Although it was great when I was under it, I'm glad I'm not in their pension fund as its basically shot

Had nothing to do with the non educated mo fos except saying I'm glad im not in the NMFA pension plan any more lol. But it I'll agree with you.

 

Are you YRC?
If so is YRC now handling your pension?
Last word I had YRC wasn't paying in all they were due.
I don't understand your glee to be OUT.
Have several friends drawing checks,as I hope to someday.And as far as I know they haven't missed a month.

 

I was YRC. I'm no longer there, just forgot how to change my avatar. The years you have vested before YRC stopped paying into the pension fund the guys still have. So if you had 25 years in before you still get that 25 yeArs.

 

I was under National Master Carhaul, was always exactly them same as freight, been getting 3K direct deposit 1st day of the month since June 1,2001, thank God.

 

A couple other barns have enough support that it will come to a vote. ULX which is downtown Los Angeles, Miami, Manchester, NH, LHG which is somewhere in Texas, and Irvine, California. There were some other southern California terminals that didn't have enough support which kinda surprised me. I heard Newark, NJ did too but haven't confirmed that. The company has been open about who's filed and they haven't mentioned Newark.

 

Good news, just remember NO LOSE LEAF CONTRACTS.

 

Yes that pension fund still has money in it. A friend of mine was under NMFA for a while then got a car hauling job and that's his pension plan now. he says it still has money in it
