All their will be drivers lining up in droves in support, claiming "well I don't do anything wrong, it will make you guys who do safer"

 

Exactly! Can't believe there are drivers advocating and condoning inward-facing cameras. The only person they are going to hurt is you. Trucking used to be about freedom, that whole " not having someone looking over your shoulder " thing. This is where the "driver turnover" part hurts us, those coming into the industry really don't know anything but the way it is and just accept it.

 

A camera saved my license... Had a four wheeler cross the center line and hit me head on... claimed they saw me on my cell phone - cameras cleared me.

a fatality and three injuries that would have been pinned on ME if it wasn't for the cameras.

Its a jungle out there...

A front only facing camera would have shown the 4 wheeler in your lane,

 

had both
