Maybe I can help you out a little... how long have you been at this, by the way?
As I said earlier, the atlas does not cover the areas I am going into. My best bet was the Thomas Guides, but they aren’t available anymore.

    I've never bought a GPS

I just looked and you can get a 15 day free trial from Pcmiler.
How long till first payday? Lol.
15 days is also a lot of free route directions you can copy.
Do you have a tablet or laptop?

    JReding Thanks this.

Back in the day we would pick up free maps at POE's. to cover for what the atlas didn't. Or just buy city maps at the truck stop for a couple bucks to get around the smaller towns.
Thomas Guides were a great resource too for a local driver.

Diesel Dave and JReding Thank this.

You can always buy last years atlas at a greatly discounted price over this years atlas.

Ya know, dude. The phone method don't work anymore.

    ME NO SPEAKIE ESPANOL

And the atlas. Is REALLY time consuming.

I had copilot. Input address and drive. NEVER had a problem except for California occasionally.

BTW. Wasn't one20 the stripped down free version of copilot??????

Less and less does the person answering the phone speak english these days.

And let's be realistic. This country is catering more and more to the southerners. We got electronic billboards starting to pop up now.
