I looked in Walmart yesterday to find a bandana. Didn't see any.

And I have noticed that in China and Japan, some seem to wear them all the time no matter what is going on.
I spent a couple months in Japan about 12 years back. Many were wearing masks even then, when there was no real threat of anything.

I think they cover their face, so they won't be identified or noticed. Asians don't like interaction as it is. I noticed, when I wore a scarf today, people were a LOT less friendly towards me, like I had something wrong.

In Asia the sick person is usually choosing to wear the mask to protect others. At least before current events and mandatory orders for masks.

I'm just glad the experts warned us to not wear masks when there were some available and now recommend wearing a mask now that none are available. Your tax dollars at work.

Nothing will change until we get mass quantities of over the counter tests that are reliable and quick. Then we can practice safe measures and isolate infected people.

Too many people have been infected. This virus will be around for awhile every season. It’s a done deal now

I'm sure the reason that they didn't want people wearing masks unless they were infected was to try to keep the masks that were still around available to the medical/first responder personnel.
I know, I see how that worked out.

In a communist country, I think the last thing someone wants is to be noticed by the government. Those people have a habit of coming up missing...

I’m ready for my 38 hour Greyhound ride to orientation. :D On second thought, I’ve got 91,000 airline miles saved up. Think I’ll use 10,000 of those and fly.

I asked a friend about that on Thursday, she is the OCM for a big company in Denver. She said they're still having orientation. Anymore than 2 to a class, they go to a local hotel convention room.
