They said we only hire flatbed and also one of my friend had the same experience with them he started with flat bed and as soon as he got the experience he left but he had a different situation it was summer for him but for it’s hard to accept do all of that for 47 cents

If you know your urine test will be good the hair follicle test is not mandated by the dot so if I understand correctly if you fail a hair follicle test it can’t be reported as a failed drug test to the dot it’s only a company policy. So if you fail it’s only that company that wouldn’t hire you I don’t think they can pass that failed test to anyone else without your permission since it’s not a dot mandated procedure. But I would look it up or ask the school which in my opinion that’s who you should be asking about employment opportunities it’s in there best interest to place you in a job. It’s one of questions I would ask up front how many graduates get employment by the end of the course

I understand the .47cpm, but the driving job market is really tight right now.
As for hair follicle, hard to keep up with which ones do what. Some that used to do urine test now do hair follicle.
Stevens Transport has always done urine, but not sure if that's still the case.

You have to start somewhere.Don’t let some scare you. I would much prefer doing flats then dry van work.Flats for the most part your unloading and loading is faster then sitting in some warehouse with 15 other trucks for hours waiting to load or unload tarping gets easy as you do it more often. I personally would never run a van again.bryan21384, LoneRanger and blairandgretchen Thank this.
