Can a bent wheel rim prevent the trailer tandem pins from going in when knob is pulled?

    And this is why I’m glad I’m leased where I am. Any issue picking up a trailer and all it takes is one phone call and they see who pulled it last and that person is made aware they probably don’t want to do it again.

    So did you hear a bunch of air leaking into the tire after you tweaked the wheel? The inflation system is supposed to have a check valve to prevent that from happening. If yours had a faulty valve you could’ve turned the valve off to stop the air flowing to the inflation system.

    The check valve was probably defective. How do you turn off the check valve? What does the check valve look like?

    Vice grip pliers. Pull pin/knob out, clamp on shaft with vice grips, and slide tandems.
