Can a bent wheel rim prevent the trailer tandem pins from going in when knob is pulled?

How are people bending inside rims ?? Jumping curbs or something ? In 25 years I’ve never bent a rim but have scuffed a sidewall but not enough to cause damage . I go into very tight places but my trucks have always been equipped with mirrors .. if a person doesn’t know how to adjust mirrors properly just you tube it or Google .

“I didn’t think I hit it that hard.”
I bet he nearly flipped his trailer.

How about taking responsibility for your own actions? You caused this damage. You called this issue in to your company. They know you have a problem that needs addressing.

Take your ten, then head to a repair shop. I'll bet you would complain if another driver took a #### on you.

Helpful hint: whack uncooperative tandem pins with a hammer after dousing them with a spray lubricant. Pins can become rusted and stuck.

Avoid pulling a "Swift" style incident by sliding the tandems forward after unloading.

I wasn't going to comment on the inside rim being bent but it is interesting how it happened, may have been an outside tire which the driver may have been in a drifting competition and hit a curb.

Nevertheless, there is something that caught my eye and I thought that someone would have caught it, here is the OPs' comment -
If this happened to any of my drivers, I would not pay the mechanic for opening his mouth about the rim and costing more time. IT isn't his place to say a word about the truck to anyone.

Cool story bro… so you wouldn’t pay for services rendered and you wish to control the speech of others.
Are you running for government office?
