Yep. Be aware Saskatchewan doesn’t recognize US safeties.

This is something I wanted to know before going to Brandt Peterbilt because in Ontario they raise their shop rates and simply rip off O/o's. American Peterbilt garages are 99% Helpful and and reasonable with their shop prices. Plus they fix trucks better in the states and in Ontario, Canada you have to bring it back numerous times before they can actually fix the issue!!!

Take it to a private shop then, not the dealer.

Could be. I've heard that an owner op can do their own - any truth to that?

Problem is with a new truck on warranty certain stipulations occur when it's not brought to the dealer and fixed there. Currently I have one issue I told the dealer numerous times about and they keep ignoring it. 2 private mechanics keep saying there is an issue. However, the morons at the Canadian dealership can never see it. Their incompetence is at an all time high. It's actually beyond pathetic and deplorable only making me wonder if this is the reason as to why the Brandt sector merged with Peterbilt? I had to fix things on my own that were basic they couldn't do adequately.

Yeah, a truck on warranty kinda ties your hands on alot of maintenance. Crazy they can't seem to get it sorted out.

Then go to the ''rates crashing'' in owners thread about # 8440 and tell them that,

This brings up the question; why is a Canadian truck in the U.S. that long, to need an inspection in the U.S.?
Isn’t there a law(regulation) that Canadian trucks, after crossing the border must deliver, then return empty to Canada, or pickup freight destined for Canada only? No ‘hob-knobing around’ chasing freight, doing pickups and drop offs, all around the country?

    Numb and Thrasher28 Thank this.
