Not looking for trouble, not meaning to be sensitive, never seen 'Fargo'; just trying to defend the homeland. I say "y'all" and drop my g's a lot. Shouldn't admit, but I can think of a couple of quotes from my old area that make me smile!

It absolutely amazes me that this topic is being debated.

There is no excuse for anyone that is a US citizen to not be able to speak, read, and write the english language.

i just figured they were from Texas.... gringo

Onto a story I have. When I went to Orientation at Landstar, there were 2 drivers (father and son) who were going to team drive there on the van side. They were from Romania and the father spoke NO english and the son had to explain things to him in native tongue. They lasted about 1 hour till the guy giving orientation took them out of the room and gave the father a test, without the help of the son. He couldn't answer a single question and they sent them both back home. The two of them were very upset and called him a racist, but he just gave them the coroprate number and told them to file a complaint.

    Crazy stuff out here

Can you get a license if you are not a U.S. citizen?

    Of course you can.

My best friend is German but lived here since he was 2 years old. He has a resident alien card, but you'd never know it.

    again i will say it

because we are not in england, english is not the native tongue, if you want to mandate english, move to england, if you want to mandate german, move to germany

the native tongue in this parts is cherokee or something along those lines, which i am sure very few of us speak, so lets get off the high-horse
