Long story short, back in 2016 i was an idiot and got two convictions on my mvr for disregarding a stop sign and failing to attend the court date. Yes I was an irresponsible dumb ### at the time but this was before I obtained my cdl. However this still shows up on my mvr.

Is this going to cause issues with me getting a cdl job now? I keep getting ghosted by potential employers and recruiters and I’m wondering if this is the reason why? I haven’t had anything else on my record since then.

Nah. The industry is a little slow at the moment but Im sure you can find a starter job if you hustle a little bit.

Did you try 10 street or whatever it’s called? The deal where you fill out one application and it goes to like 100 companies?

I noticed on your other post you wrote you were going to “call” western express. You gotta fill out the applications online nowadays. They dont want to talk, they want to see if you qualify before talking to you.

Those are relatively minor & 8 years old now. The industry is SLOW. There is NO DRIVER SHORTAGE. Find a company that will hire you for a job you want, paying good money BEFORE YOU CONSIDER CDL school. Lots of inexperienced newbies can't get hired at the moment.
