    OK I'm just going to cite one example here, this one is from the California Vehicle Code. http://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/vctop/d11/vc23152.htm

    "23152. (a) It is unlawful for any person who is under the influence of any alcoholic beverage or drug, or under the combined influence of any alcoholic beverage and drug, to drive a vehicle."
