Hahaha....hubby's truck actually is governed at 65mph. Not much but 3 mph is 3 mph.

Ok he brought the truck home...will get some pics and get them downloaded and post Monday or Tuesday, whenever I get a minute.

For him to be a newbie with Swift, we really can't complain. Somethings have came up but nothing big...not worth complaining about. It's just ordinary BS that goes along with any new job. They give him decent runs so he puts on some miles. He got good trainers in school, an awesome mentor and a good DM. I got worried at one point (about when he was with his mentor) but later found out that everything was taken care of.

Wow, guys three pages. I was just asking for some interior shots of a volvo, and I get called naive, and patronized, what a cool couple of guys.

How about this, you go out and find me a better place to start out, or dont hijack the thread with a bunch of negativity. Theres plenty of people on this forum and others who have said that Swift is just fine to work for. That's all good and well if you know a guy who knows a guy who worked for Swift and has a bad experience I guess, but it has nothing to do with this thread. I'm just not sure I see where all of this hostility is coming from.

Keep it up guys! Makes a new guy to the forum want to hang around for sure.

Also note; someone who's husband has first hand experience, and gives input, and its not 110% Negative....That's odd. Coincidence I guess.

Thanks Samantha, I got some interior pics earlier, but I'd love to see more :biggrin_25519:. I'll just keep checkin back here in this awesome thread, or you or your husband can just shoot me a PM to let me know. Take care!

Try goin to youtube and searchin the names of the trucks they run, there are lots of videos on there where guys show the interiors of threre trucks. also if you go to schneider's web site they have a 360 viewer of the trucks they offer(which are similar to swift's) hope this helps!
    Best of Luck To you!

Well one piece of advice I can offer is if you get offended that easy I am not too sure that trucking and being with swift is the best move for you. You are going to hear a lot worse out there on the road...:biggrin_2554:

Calling you naive wasn't meant to be offensive nor hostile, but the fact that you were offended.. well... good luck to you in the trucking world, as you will see much much worse. You have shown that you will heed the advice of those that have some experience... oh, wait... nevermind.

It doesnt offend me, because I know it isnt true, its just a dick thing to say when you have no basis to say it. Thanks for thinking I wont make it in a family business though, you've got a lot of insight to both my personal life, and what I can/can't handle. And you're #### right im not going to heed your advice. When did your Swift trucking experience take place?

Good luck to you, Sport. You have it all figured out. Another steering wheel holder.
As for Swift experience, I listened to those in the know and stayed away, and that was back when you weren't even crawling across the floor yet.

Yep, I do have it all figured out, thanks for your support. Not very good at giving the rundown on the internet, Sport, but I'm glad it makes you feel good. Saying that you heeded someone advice with a company 20 years ago doesn't justify anything...you can go to another thread now, since you're the least helpful person on these boards. Take it easy champ.
