Can a one man operation really compete with the bigs

    I looked one guy in the eye one time and told him I was going to throw a fit now because he wasn't loading me.

    I just stood there and stared ahead.

    He asked me what I was doing.

    I told him I am putting as much effort into throwing a fit as he was into loading me.

    He got the point.

    Maybe you should have laughed! Nothing pisses someone off more than when you know they are being dead serious, and you pretend to think that they're joking, and joke right back at them. I guess it goes somewhere along with the "kill with kindness" thing.

    And believe it or not, when someone is in that piss-poor of an attitude to where they feel the need to tell you to F-off, then if you joke back at them, well sometimes it lightens up the situation, and gets them out of a bad decision they made - they might think "hmm, I just told this guy to F-off and he didn't take it seriously, and I regretted saying it in the first place, maybe I have another chance to make the situation better so that I don't have to feel guilty and a fool about being a complete arse."

    Or something like that.
