Yup, and totaly worthless in a selfdefense situation, by the time you get it out, get out the ammo, load it, your dead. faster to start the truck and leave. Verse my 45 is loaded, round in the chamber, no other way to carry it if it is needed, and on the other hand if there is time to leave I would leave, but if they are coming thru the curtain, I will shoot first ask later. And I do have a CCW but its not honored in all states.shooter19802003 Thanks this.

Good to know...now I know I never want to go there. Regardless, I am not jumping from a 2nd floor, when I'm holding a gun in self defense.John Joel Glanton Thanks this.

We had a guy from the last company I worked for pumping concrete try to enter an army base with pot. They found it, and kept it, and he was lifetime banned. Not sure if anything came of it.

At the end of the day, if you keep your firearm tucked away in the sleeper in states that frown on such things, just don’t do stupid stuff to give somebody probable cause to search your truck. In states that allow it, strap it to your side if you wish.
If your company doesn’t allow it, just don’t tell them.
Only major exception to this is if you go into security controlled places like military bases, ports, and prisons. They can and will search your truck and find your firearm, and it’s not going to end well when they do.shooter19802003 Thanks this. -
Not NJ unfortunately, I spoke to a NJ 2nd amendment lawyer about this. No Byrna rounds are allowed there. Not even a slingshot, bb gun, or baseball bat. Only tire thumper and a small keychain pepper spray.

Good to know I don’t go east of I65,

So how does this NJ cop know what you have?
I highly recommend if you are in a self defense shooting, you drive home, don't answer the door.
The only people who hang around today are idiots. Da's love to prosecute self defense.Powder Joints Thanks this.
