Can any tell me about Roehl.

Go to the Roehl section of Trucking DAC reports on this forum. There are a lot of us that treat the place like an online drivers room.

I started with them in the 7/4-7/3 hometime fleet and came in as an experienced driver. I am now doing a lease/purchase with them. If you are a new driver and especially if you need training I would recommend them. The two biggest complaints about them are weak miles and a bit too hands on in dispatch. The way my wife puts it is that they want to tell you how many squares of toilet paper to use to wipe your butt. If you are new, it can be reassuring to have someone looking over your shoulder, if you are a very independent, experienced driver it can drive you nuts.

 

The main reason I went with Roehl is I want to be a safe driver, keep my dac clean and learn how to do this right.
Don't think I'll mind their "insight" till I'm not so green. I don't mind being instructed on something I don't know or haven't done before.
Now they do push you out there pretty quick, 9days phase 1 and 13 on the road for phase 2 so the "help" after that should be a good thing for a newbie.
