My wifes uncle went on fmla(i think that is right)
His mother got set back quite a bit the last few years.
She broke her hip and he stayed with her,well then the DR tells him that your mom has cancer.
My wife offered to stay with her Grandma,but my wifes uncle knew we have our hands full with the kids.
There was seven kids and only 1 son put his mother before himself.
Good news though they are pretty sure the big battle is won.
Bad news the place he worked for said he was out to long.
I listened to the answer machine tape and the oh we want her better don't worry about a thing.
If we need you we will send somebody to drop the papers off.
His view is that his mom can be healthy and live by herself now (but still gets checked in on a lot)
He just put in for a job and of course didn't get it,but he asks them and they said lack of employment and quit his last job???
A good buddys wife did get the job and hasn't worked in years???
Is this weird or what??
My question is could he help his past by some the DRs that dealt with his mom?
The quitting thing ,i figured they where telling him what he would have loved to hear.
Also funny how so many are being let go so they can rehire somebody else through Kelly services.
I also wonder if you would do all of this for your mom,i know a lot just throw them in rest homes when all they needed was help.
Can anybody figure this out???????

it always seams to be the good guy that gets screwed over. companies dont care about staff they care about $$$$ and that is that, no matter what they say they are there to make money 1st and always 1st. here in OZ the hire companies which are likely simular to Kelly were used heavily in the past, but not so much anymore simply because transport businesses woke up to the fact that it just does not work because it ends up costing them money in vehicle damages due to bad drivers and loss of clients because they can not alway gets drivers to put behind the wheel. to bad the usa has not worked that out yet. tell him to keep his chin up, sounds like he will get a good job away from the ones that use services like kelly.

if there are time limits regarding the family leave act, i am not sure, i could look it up, but so can you, so you please look it up.
a lawyer can "probably" get him his job back OR at least back wages from the time he was supposed to work when he got fired, again, ONLY a lawyer can give him THE BEST ADVICE...many times, lawyers do NOT CHARGE the client but the "other party" for thier fee's.....
