The one on the right is insulated with an aluminum sheathing while the white one isnt. The white one appears to be maybe an acid tanker.

I agree. //

I can't pull up your pictures..... I'm on a phone .But the one on the left is an acid trailer, probably 5000 gals and steel barrel with some kinda liner in it
The other one looks like a general chemical trailer. Probably 7000 gallons stainless steel, and insulated .
maybe someone who's not on a phone can help ....... -
You cant pull acid in a regular chemical trailer?

You can put some acids ( I don't know the breakdown) in a general chemical trailer. But it's usually really heavy per gallon. So you don't need a 7000 gallon trailer.

The white tank looks like its strictly a chemical trailer. Im not to sure on the white trailer, but I know the insulated chrome looking trailers have heating coils through the outer hull. If pulling things like vegetable oils, palm oils the heat system from your truck will hook into the heat system on the trailer and keep it warm and keep the product from solidifying and getting hard. I used to load trailers like those when I worked for Cargill Foods. They used to put palm oils and veggie oils in them. If a truck was stuck someplace without heat on the trailer the product would get hard or extremely thick. Most trailers like that are Kosher trailers so they can haul Kosher ready food products and such. The inside of the tanks are stainless steel and dont corrode easy.
