It was a very long time ago...... Times were different .

But even back then the terminals did not work together.... I guess it's worse now that their basically franchises......

I enjoyed it ..... And was able to be rehired after I left. Or so they said....

Make sure of the money first, if you can.

Nope, never did anything out of Albany area which is where I live. I was told I would when I leased on but you know how that goes. At least they came out and said we lied about that a few months later. I did a lot of loads out of Jersey going all over the place. Strangest one I did was a load of Ethylene Glycol out to Mountain Home Idaho to some little bo dung place up in the woods in the middle of nowhere. Wasnt sure if maybe I was at Ted Kaczyinskis house or what. They were pretty strict but not to bad. I dont know how it is today with QC. I hear mixed stories and it depends on what terminal your out of.

The white tank is an FRP or fiberglass reinforced plastic. The usually have rubber liners in them in order to haul certain types of acids like hydrochloric acid or hydrofluorosilicic acid (fluoride). They can haul sodium.hypochlorite (bleach) and caustic soda ( sodium hydroxide) without the liner. They also have a product temperature rating of no more than 120 degrees.

The shiny one should be an insulated stainless steel tank. They mostly come unlined and you can haul alot of different acids and bases like sulfuric acid, nitric acid, ammonia etc. They are usually anywhere from 3500 to 7000 gals and most have heat coils to keep the product warm. They are usually rated MC/DOT 307, 312, 407, 412 as the most common. They are also have product weight ratings as lbs per gallon. The most common being 13 and 16.
