Can anyone buy from Mercer store? Need me some felt!

Have to be Mercer to buy at the Mercer store I believe.

Their felt is like 2 bucks a foot or something. I bought 50 feet. It's good stuff.

Ask around, ask in the Mercer thread. I'm sure just about anyone would get you some, just have to work out the details.

 

I was thinking the same thing... Mercer is the place for felt.

Just stay away from the straps....

 

What's wrong with their straps?

 

Last i Looked they wanted $14-15 each. For a 4" strap. Trailer and truck dealers sell them for just under $10. TA sells them for $25-30.

 

$12 a strap, $10 if you trade in an old one.

 

Ok. Haven't bought any from them since I started there. I order mine from Mighty Tarp. Like $7 each. Way cheaper than the $39.99 each that the truck stops charge.

 

Yeah I dont buy my stuff at Mercer so much cheaper elsewhere lol

 

I think the price list I was remembering was from 2013 or so. Glad to hear it's outdated.

 

Lots of hotels doing renovations are always trying to give away their old, heavy duty carpet. It works great at protecting tarps from slicing and dicing. A single room's roll could probably fulfill your needs for at least a year.
