Shifting? As your training shifting gears or you rocking and rolling?
If it's the rocking and rolling Walmart sells memory foam mattress pads. They will cradle you better..
If it's the truck shifting can't help you there..Texas-Nana Thanks this. -
ohhhh the bliss of ignorance....
I thought like you did until I started training...lol. -
Use one at first to see how they affect you. One will give you a few hours of solid sleep. It's an aid to get you started on sleeping. After a couple three days, try without. I use tylenol pm once in awhile, and it doesn't affect me after a good 7 or 8 hours of sleep. One should get you a good 4, which is a start.
Try closing the curtains between the cab and sleeper as well. If reading helps you get to sleep, grab a book and read.Texas-Nana Thanks this. -
as in the mattress moves with every turn, pothole, rumble strip, upshift, downshift, brake, acceleration, lane change, etc etc etc

There should be a webbing type harness (kind of like a big seat belt) that is probably currently under the mattress. It is fastened at the back of the sleeper at the lower bunk, and hooks to the front of the lower bunk. Holds you in the bunk. If you aren't using it, you could end up getting dumped onto the floor. Had that happen once, and it hurt! Hopefully, it is still there. That may actually help you with sleeping, as it keeps you from getting tossed about in the bunk.

Get the memory foam.. It rolls up nice too. I have slept in the back of many a rolling ambulance to know you will get used to it after a while.
Course I would nicely ask your trainer if he missed any potholes.. I am sure he did.. HAHHA -
most companys require ur trainer to be logged on line 4 while your driving for at least the first 2 weeks, to make suggestions and help correct your wrongs, but after that you should be ok...

fixed....lol -
Have your trainer purchase a 5 pound hammer.
And with one well placed pop on the nogging you'll be out for hours.outerspacehillbilly Thanks this.
