I have to say, being a chronic insomniac like I am, I found a very good way to get me to sleep in ANY situation. I cannot post it on here, but it involves going into a bathroom stall at any truck stop. I know some folks will not approve, but it works for me.
Use your imagination from here.
Can Anyone Help me fall asleep while the truck is moving?

This should be a federal standard, NO TEAM DRIVING WITH STUDENTS. That is why I chose Roehl over werner. Werner team drives students.

I would suggest Tylenol PM. I don't drive team but sometimes have trouble sleeping as I sometimes suffer from insomnia. I take 1 tylenol PM and 1 aleve combination when I think I will have trouble sleeping ( not on a daily basis ) and with that it takes me about 20 or 30 minutes and I'm out. It will give me a good 5-8 hours sleep and I feel refreshed when I wake because it was good sleep.
Also my Dr told me at one time to take 2 benadryl at bedtime and that will help you sleep also. The thing about benadryl is they make me kind of groggy even after a few hours sleep. -
I am a nurse by profession, and have used both Tylenol PM and Benadryl (not at the same time) to help myself sleep. They both contain Diphenhydramine HCL which is a antihistimine used to treat allergy symptoms. The drowsiness side effect is why it is used as a sleep aid. I prefer Tylenol PM (or the generic) as the acetaminophen helps with any inflammation, aches and pains too. Maximum to take is two 25 mg. caps of either of the two listed. Anymore and you will be no doubt experience "a very groggy feeling" when you wake up....duhhhhh.... and if you use it every night, your body will adapt to it and cause less therapeutic effect. Oh, and for sniffles, congestions, etc., do not buy expensive NyQuil or equivalent. grab you a shot of brandy, (preferable as seems to be more effective), Whiskey or bourbon, warm it up, grab a couple of Tylenol and then go to bed. Juts as effective, if not more so, and much cheaper. Wal Mart, CVS or Rite Aid won't tell you that one though. That will be $50.00 for the doctor consultation, please.
