Can Anyone HELP Me Get a Job in Trucking??

Well, I went down to QuickSilver Express this morning and apparently the woman I had chatted with on Saturday was actually located in Denver, CO!!
She did not tell me where she was, but I had called the Phoenix number.
When I arrived to the Phoenix location this morning, the guy there said if I had called on Saturday, I would have been transferred to the Denver, CO office. This is where the lady there told me to come in on Monday and they would be interested in hiring me. Crazy!
Phoenix told me they don't hire anyone with a van older than 2015. Mine is a 2005 and runs well. But he said they go by the set year and make no exceptions.
He also said if I had called on Friday, I would have been transferred to Dallas, TX. wow

 

I searched Phoenix, AZ and NO jobs found.

 

I would LOVE to be back in my own truck! But I don't have the funds. I asked the bank to lend me $35k to replace the motor and trans... but I guess they would rather I file bankruptcy than pay my bills.

No driving jobs available. These people are IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of!

 

National is one of the lower paying companies. Plus, I did talk to them a while ago and the guy wasn't too nice. So I wrote them off.

 

I appreciate all your suggestions! But ABL told me they do Not allow animals on their trucks.

I DO have an interview with OTTO tomorrow morning. I did not tell him my age over the phone. So,
I will go in tomorrow morn and apply. I also did not tell him about the recent rear-end. It's not yet on
my record.

 

Companies keep turning me down... No idea why... I pulled my PSP and one company is reporting 2 violations and I NEVER got ANY violations!
How long does it take to get a copy of your DAC record? I requested it last week. So far, nothing.
