The news said some states will be gradually opening back up. Perhaps more freight will pick up. Keep aggressively applying, it only takes one yes. Check out the job board on here too. You may strike goldTexas_hwy_287, Zoltan1a and HoneyBadger67 Thank this.

As an inexperienced CDL holder, I've had a similar experience as the original poster. I even had a start date with Schneider that got cancelled, too.
I quoted the above, because Crete has a lot of positions listed for my area (GA) for new drivers but rejected me almost immediately after I submitted my application, citing an issue with my consumer report. I did have a bankruptcy over two years ago, but all my current creditors show I've had exceptional payment history since then, per my free credit report.
I haven't yet received the report on which Crete based its decision, and I can't get the recruiter at Crete to call or email me back. It would be fine if Crete just didn't take people who had had a bankruptcy in the past few years, as another company I've talked to (not a mega carrier) has such a policy, but I can't even talk to anyone at Crete to find out. -

I know they're owned by Knight, but worth a try. Kold Trans might not know he applied at Knight.
