I had mine done at Diesel Injection Feb. of 2014. Total cost $16,462.60. Very satisfied. I need to experiment or learn how to post a pic. Could then show the actual invoice. When truck is done they want paid.

Midway Western Star in Bethel, PA. came recommended to me when my 3406E needed rebuild. They have a very clean shop and do meticulous work. I was and, still happy with the work. Outframe decked block with Cat OPT warranty cost me 26K. Took me a long time to get over the price but, truck is running real well still, even with the lo-nox program they replaced the performance tune with (for warranty).

    No.

In the Northeast? Are you kidding? The place is so full.. of er.. ahem... moving on...

IF you want that precision you seek, do it yourself. IF you cannot, buy a replacement truck and roll until that too burns out. Donate both to a trade school until they are working again.

No, I do not. I had an issue with a Cat and he was very helpful, but he is very busy and it takes a few days to get a reply, sometimes. Contact him and see what suggestions he may have. He, just like many of the guys on this site, are very thourough and knowledgeable on the finer points of Caterpillar engines. And trust me, I found out the easy way and the hard way, that there are some very handy tips and tricks to make a rebuild go smoothly.

I read on one of his videos he doesn't like advertising the shop he works at, cause they don't support his you tube channel, so talk to him first and ask about it. But yes he is always very helpful, seems like a good guy.

Ok so where is this guy who made this video #20 and how do I contact him. Or did I miss something. My guess is it would take some time to get it done but I’m interested
