Can anyone recommend a physician that will "work with me" for my DOT physical blood pressure in GA?

Do nutritional supplements and vitamins also need to be listed?

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

Naw he's good on Maxzide. It won't show up on a drug test. It's not of the class of drugs the test encompasses.

I'm not sure of the actual law regarding supplements but the Postal Service told me I had to list everything that was prescribed to me.

Just keep in mind that even if you have a current medical card a lot of companies are going to require you to have a physical and current med card through their provider. They know you can get a medical card from back alley shops and what not and they don't want the liability of putting someone on the road with a medical condition that was conveniently overlooked by these places. As everyone has said on here, no caffeine (coffee, soda, energy drinks, etc), no smoking, and watch the weight. Any meds you take make sure they are DOT approved and make sure you mention that you use them as they can show up in your urine test. The natural remedies if they will work for you.

I have heard of DOT doctors asking drivers this question. They're going out of their way now to disqualify us from working.

There is no such thing as a "DOT approved" medicine.

Unless you want a hassle, there is no reason to mention your meds. Non-narcotic medication won't result in a positive drug test.

Almost everyone has an opinion on this topic--and almost all are WRONG.
