I hear ya. Last thing I heard him called was "unemployed". No question I got hella lucky on that one, kinda makes up for all the times I've been hosed somewhere.![]()

Is this a new truck. Was all this work done under warranty, I can tell you food is not an expense from being down you would have to eat anyway. Unless you can have a freightliner dealer say it was the fault of another freightliner dealership (not gonna happen) you dont have a case. Seeing that you continued to operate it knowing the filter was bypassed it will reverse the fault back to you. And any money that you could get you will give it to a lawyer X10

As a wannabe trucker, this has definitely convinced me not to lease lol. Wow what a headache

Sounds like somebody that has no business owning a truck. I also doubt you have much of a lawsuit. If you are truly running with your fuel filters bypassed, that is the stupidest thing I've ever heard of and OF COURSE your losing injectors! The fuel filter or filters filter out the crud before it can destroy the injector nozzle. At most you have two fuel filters for the engine, if you have a Davco, you might only have one. Your Tripac filter filters the fuel for your Tripac, not the truck engine.
