Be very careful if you are a Broker and also finding loads for carrier who you own!!
I am trying to stay separate from our carrier arm, if i am in agreement with shipper regarding using our trucks exclusively then it may be ok but you need to upfront with shipper about that...........
Can anyone tell me if FREIGHTBROKERBOOTCAMP is a scam or is it legit?

I realize this is an old post but after trying for years to find a way in, it’s been very difficult to find that open door. If it’s still available, I’d like and appreciate an opportunity to learn with you.

Uh, there's always brokerages hiring out there. Go apply. That's your door in. Learn this industry on someone else's dime. It's not worth dropping coin on 'training'.CalRussell Thanks this.

I truly appreciate your response.
I am wanting to learn via through a brokerage’s dime. There is a catch 22 in that when I’ve spoken to brokerages or people therein, I’m promptly put off the trail by them.
It’s that I don’t have the shipping contacts when I walk in the door. I can find the trucks but not having contacts from the shippers’ side is where the problem lies. I am constantly told that cold calling is not allowed but my train of thought is that there has to be at least one time where you need a face to face meeting followed by a handshake. Am I incorrect on this? -
Put it this way. I've met exactly two of my customers face to face, and that after a bunch of loads for them.
-
Thank you very much. I’ll just keep trying. That’s about all I can do. Right?
-
Pretty much. Best of luck to you.
