Can anyone tell me UCR actually does?

Ahh the good ole days!

 

UCR monies are used to, get this, make sure DOT officers are trained and up to date. So what that means is,we are paying another tax to subsidize the federal DOT education program. Pretty cool, huh?

 

So what happens if I don't pay for UCR? Will I get fined?

I didn't know this was a real thing. There are SO many scams that pop up, random emails, random texts, phone calls, it's hard to sort out the real places to spend the money vs. the fake ones.

 

If you have your own authority yes you have to pay it. Easy to do online. About $80 per year for a 1 truck show

 

Figures. Only another $80 USD. I kept getting the emails, but like I said it's hard to filter out the spam vs. the real ones to pay attention to.
