I want to buy a new bed and sheets and all that for my tractor but I see some of them say it's longer than a regular twin some say the twin sheets will fit and where do I buy the mattress?

My truck is just a standard fld120 not a classic not a big bunk it's just a flat top truck.

Twin sheets fits fine on mine. But not all were built the same. They built trucks to order back then.

TWIN XL. Is what normally fits. You can google the TWIN and TWIN XL sizes and measure the length of the pan.
I just bought a new mattress and bedding, I replace mine every 2 or 3 years. And I dont cheap out. Have a a good quality spring mattress with a memory foam topper, new good quality sheets and a memory foam pillow.
Cant be comfortable enough in these things.

I was actually in the store buying sheets when I made the post and I realized a twin might not be the right size so I thought maybe someone would know.

Doing a little research someone else said a twin XL is really supposed to be the right size and from what I remember I think that is correct for my truck.

Sorry I don't know much about sheets but is it better to have cotton sheets or microfiber?

And also where is a good place to actually buy a new mattress and what kind are you buying?

I can feel the springs in that old mattress now and I want something really comfortable and really comfortable sheets.

It's definitely time for new stuff.

Your asking the wrong guy here. I can relay to Mrs. I'm cheap. Cheap walmart win sheets, one blanket and a heavy Colman sleeping bag I carry in truck for the few nights I sleep in it.

Cotton is better if you run double, microfiber can be too slippery. There is nothing worse than piling your partner into a corner of the bunk by cutting and carving a mountain road (experience speaking).
Seriously they both work well. Unless you are 6'1" or more you can buy a twin mattress at any furniture or mattress store and you can use the extra space at the end for extra storage. I used to put a small duffel bag at my feet that had extra cold weather clothes or extra coveralls and such (depending on the season).

You can use a regular twin but they slide down and you end up with you pillow between the mattress and the wall. Get the twin XL, get cotton with the highest thread count you can afford, get a good comforter.
Get you mattress from a mattress store or at least a good furniture store.
    Cheap, is cheap.
