If I'm not wrong, I know they're valid with a Class B license (which I don't know if articulated buses truly aren't combination vehicles because I always thought they were), but what if the bus is very long, can it require a CDL A?
Can articulated buses be considered a "Class A" vehicle?

THIS is a Class A bus.
Hopefully this finally answers your question.Woodys, NY2001 and Another Canadian driver Thank this. -
Articulated busses aren't class a because they cannot be separated. Even though it pivots, it cannot be separated thus it's not a trailer that is what it would need to be to be a class a.Another Canadian driver and tscottme Thank this.

I have never seen those. These seem like they’re a thing of the past, from the ‘90s.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.

Bit further back than that, quite a bit, calling the 90s "the past", while accurate, is less than half a lifetime ago for most truck drivers...Another Canadian driver, NY2001 and homeskillet Thank this.

Isn't this illegal though? I mean I could see this in like India but the United States doesn't alow the driver to have a "trailer" with passengers. I have the "M" restriction on my liscence and there's no class "A" passenger vehicles I can test in.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.

I was non-existent in the '90s so that's why I used that phrase.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.

To my understanding, there is no federal law that explicitly forbids the driver from transporting passengers in the trailer, and there shouldn't. The problem is bus drivers and passengers should be separated because they're very annoying.cbones98, Another Canadian driver, Geekonthestreet and 1 other person Thank this.

Yes and refering to the decade directly before you were born the way you did makes it seem like you're a 9 year old with no concept of how the past flows to the present.Another Canadian driver and NY2001 Thank this.
