There are far cheaper ways of going about this than signing on with an outfit like CR England. Honestly, them telling people that THEY, rather than the issuing STATE, have the authority to revoke a gov't issued credential is the most ridiculous thing I've read here in many years.

Granted, it isn't a viable option for everyone, but here is who I used.

I'm going through that same thing. Just got hired at a paratransit company, and before getting my CDL, they scare us by saying they can ask us to "surrender" our license if we quit before the 6 month mark. I'm not so sure about that. I don't think it's true. But, I'll just stick the 6 months out instead of finding out the hard way.

Hello, first off know your rights,
A CDL school is kind of a scam if its more then $1000, also you paid the personal out of your pocket $72 at the DMV for your test,

I just got fired from CR engalnd yesterday's I was with the company for 7 months, I just received this emailed from eagle Atlantic.

    Hello Jared,

We received notification from CR England that you are no longer employed by them and we have been contracted by CR England to collect on your tuition balance. Your contract has now becomes due for the tuition amount of $4995.00 and you cannot legally use your CDL to drive for another company because you are still under contract, unless you want to go with the buyout option then you can pay the buyout fee of $2500.00 on top of the $4995.00 for a total of $7495.00 then you can be released from the contract and use your CDL. Otherwise you will have to wait until your 9 months expire. If you have any questions, or if you need me to email you a copy of your contract feel free to contact me.

    Have a nice day!

I emailed her back told her I knoe my rights my CDL is fine and to go shove iy up her ### and noy yo contact me again,

One of two things will happen down the road the amount will remain they will go after me and soon be sold to a collections agency, two they won't contact me again and will will fall off as if it never existed, here is a little FYI legally after w lenders select your load to a third party organization you are legally no longer liable for it dispute with all three business bureau and it will be deleted never show on a credit check noy only that your credit score will boost 99% of Americans dont know this.

Sure, they can "ask" you to voluntarily surrender your CDL...and you can tell them to pound sand. The license is yours, and no company can revoke it.

That is something you need to remember in this career. The CDL is yours. Company wants you to run illegal? They'll throw you under the bus in a heartbeat and have another warm butt in the seat by the end of the day if you're caught. Your license, not theirs. Your consequences, not theirs.

CRE can't do anything. You never owed CRE money. You owed Eagle money. Eagle sold the account to a collection agency.

The collection agency will threaten you with all kinds of nonsense to scare you into sending them money. The collection agency may be able go to court and win a judgement to garnish you wages. But they can't take your CDL away.

    BUMBACLADWAR Thanks this.
